1. Clinical Practice Details

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the booking system and medical services offered by the professional practice of Dr. Kauthar Jeaven.

Dr. Kauthar Jeaven is registered with the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA) as a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Registration Number A12834.

2. Bookings and Cancellations

By scheduling an appointment through our website or calling/messaging the practice, you agree to the following slot allocation and cancellation conditions:

• Attendance: You agree to arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment duration to avoid affecting subsequent patient slots.
• Cancellation Window: If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, you must notify the practice at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule.
• Late Cancellation / No-Show Fees: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment time, or failing to attend without notification, may incur a cancellation charge at the discretion of the practice.

3. Payment Terms

We accept payments in Cash or via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Payment is due at the time of the consultation.

4. Medical Disclaimer

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture are holistic therapeutic treatments designed to restore balance and stimulate the body's natural recovery processes.

TCM diagnostic assessments differ from conventional allopathic medical diagnoses. Treatments received at the practice are complementary and are not intended to replace consultation with a general medical practitioner (GP) or specialist when necessary. Patients are advised to keep their primary healthcare providers informed of all ongoing treatments.

5. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Your continued use of the booking service following any amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
